This is my

Story

Don’t ever grow up. Don’t become a bore, and Don’t ever let the Man get to you.

Sup, I'm Sophia.

I’ve dedicated my career to helping entrepreneurs build their dream businesses. Over the past 18 years, I’ve scaled big companies and failed hard on the grand public stage. When I was 22, I started a little eBay store selling vintage out of the back of an ‘87 Volvo and named it Nasty Gal.

Over the years, I scaled the business to $100,000,000 in revenue and wrote a New York Times Bestselling book about the whole thing and named it #GIRLBOSS. So they put me on the cover of Forbes, said I was richer than Beyoncé (I was, but I'm not), and made a Netflix series based on my life.

Needless to say, it’s been a pretty wild ride.

I'm a Subway Sandwich Artist.

The crappiest job I had? Scrubbing ring-around-the-collar off of men's dress shirts - then separating them by starch level – in the back of a dry cleaner.

I work in an Art School Lobby.

Sitting on the internet many a late night, I start getting Myspace friend requests from eBay sellers promoting their vintage auctions. I decide that I can do that too, quit the job, and Nasty Gal was born.

NASTY GAL IS BORN.

The first vintage I listed for auction didn't sell. I was determined not to work for anyone else, so I kept going. I learned, iterated, and shoppers started taking notice.
